What is Blues Dance?

Blues dance is one of the most difficult partner dances to describe...It is a family of vintage dances from the early 20th century that has been recently rediscovered and modernized. Blues dance is highly inspired by blues music, of which there are many styles, so the dance does not have one single basic step. It's all about connecting with your partner, expressing the music, and improvising! We enjoy incorporating concepts from tango, waltz, swing, and whatever else we can create.
